SociaLikeGameplay Programming
This is my second student project, it was realized with a team of 4 people in ~4 months. We used the Unreal Engine 4 for this project and I took the role as the programmer. I use C++ in Unreal to program the features of our game. The goal of the project was to create a fast-paced splitscreen game which you can play with friends on the couch. Our topic for the semester was "Games for Teens" because of that we decided to convert big social network into playable characters. In the end we had 4 different characters each with a unique set of skills and a different playstyle. Besides my main role as programmer I also was responsible for the game design of the characters and to give each of them a different feeling while playing During the project I learned much about local multiplayer and player interaction. |
